#WalangPasok on November 27, 2023 in celebration of Bonifacio Day. The regular holiday which is celebrated every 30th of November has been moved pursuant to Proclamation No. 90.
Fun fact: Misamis University's address was formerly known as Bonifacio Street, in honor of Andres Bonifacio.
Andrés Bonifacio, a historical figure, played a pivotal role in achieving Philippine independence. He is recognized as the Father of the Philippine Revolution against Spain, assumed the role of Supremo of the Katipunan in 1895, and hailed as the Great Plebeian.
Presently, the street facing Misamis University's main gate has been renamed to "H.T. Feliciano Street" in honor of Hilarion T. Feliciano, MU's first university president.
Bonifacio Day is not only a commemoration of the hero's birth but also a tribute to his enduring heroic legacy.
